I didn't use any AV product... But I like kaspersky engine.

Think I only ever had one virus in 20 years of using a computer and that was before I had av installed. I do have AVG Free installed these days and never had a problem with it.

I would say Kaspersky. I used to be a big fan of NOD32 but it's taking up a lot of resources now.

I have been using NOD32 2.x for several years.

NOD32 3.x and 4.x gets fat and slow.
And then, I started to use AVAST 4.x on some of my machines.
It worked fine for me, except that it gives too many false alarm on packed files.

Now, I used Kaspersky on most of my computers.
Kaspersky was very slow before.
But now, it is faster and friendly.

I am interested in AVAST 5.0 as well.
But I would wait and see for the time being.

I have NOD32 4.x Security Suite, before I used NOD I used Avast Home Premium but, personally, I much prefer NOD32 for all round protection

I think that M$ scanner is not so bad at all. It runs smoothly even on a netbook
