UPX returned following error:

Guys,
I want to ask why this error happens when packing unpacked-file with UPX:

UPX returned following error: upx <Filename>:
CantPackException: superfluos data between sections sections

How can I fix the unpacked file? Btw, the file runs without problem on XP.

Many thanks,

Upx error

It simply mean the file is packed with modified UPX like upx$hit and some others such programmes. You need to manually unpack the is which wont be dificult anyway

If you are patching and wrapping it back up then why dont u just do an inline patch in the original UPX'd program?

its dead easy with UPX stuff

i'll explain how to do it if your interested?
