The only advice which comes to my head is that you should check all the flags (except carry) during the "proper" execution (with dongle) and "cracked" (without dongle). Of course I am assuming you did not miss the crash address (decrement opcode result modifies flags only).
You should notice the difference and, eventually, fix this place. Good luck, dyn!o
